New Tata Indica Vista launched in Delhi

Despite getting some visually appealing cosmetic upgrades on the outside and some funky gadgetry and media connectivity options on the inside, the flagship hatchback from the Tata brand manages to retain its modest purchase points with the petrol range now starting from Rs. 3.88 lakhs and the diesel versions from Rs. 4.79 lakhs

4.79 lakhs

The arrival of the original Vista model from Tata Motors back in 2008 did well to peg the company’s presence in the then nascent premium hatchback space in India. With a look and feel that was certainly a notch above its Indica cousin, the Vista with its spacious interiors and nicely laid out central driver display became a car that gave the Indica brand something more than it’s widely accepted ‘taxi’ image in the country.

But while, the premium hatchback has so far done well to win the hearts of many in its homeland, the hour of its refurbishment was anticipated by many. And so, Tata Motors has now introduced its new generation Vista model, which having received upgrades in all of its key areas, now makes it an even worthier competitor amongst other hatches in its class.

Sporty alloy wheels and the new triple barreled head lamp on the new version, along with its new front chrome grill and overall chrome package incorporates the same styling formula that makes the Tata Manza look so good. With refreshing new interiors that exude the Manza’s signature style, Tata has come close to matching the experience of a sedan in it’s newly facelifted Vista.

But this in turn has added a host of new driver friendly features to the Vista, which now includes a handy
new tilt adjustable 4-spoke steering wheel with mounted audio controls. USB, Bluetooth and Auxiliary input connectivity options are also welcome upgrades on the new car. Electrically operated outer rear view and AC controls definitely add to the new Vista’s style and convenience.
